Integration

Shopify to
NetSuite

Orders flow in against the right subsidiary, customer and tax treatment. Stock flows back. Fulfilment and tracking close the loop, so nothing between your storefront and your ERP is typed twice.

Optional flows

Switch on what you need.

Beyond the core order flow, Supply Lens can activate additional sync layers depending on your operational setup.

Product & price sync

Push item data and pricing from NetSuite to Shopify on a schedule or trigger, including price levels per channel.

Multi-subsidiary routing

Route each Shopify store or market to the right NetSuite subsidiary, with its own currency and tax treatment.

Refunds & credit memos

Shopify refunds and cancellations handled with configurable credit memo logic against the original order.

Kits & assemblies

Shopify bundles mapped onto NetSuite kit or assembly items, so components are not double counted.

B2B and DTC separation

Different order handling, customer matching and pricing rules for Shopify B2B against direct to consumer traffic.

Manual sync mode

Trigger syncs by hand as well as automatically, which helps during migration, testing or high value order review.

Configuration

Set up your rules, not ours.

Every Supply Lens integration is configured to match your business logic rather than forced into a template. These are the settings you control.

1

Order trigger rules

Choose which Shopify order statuses trigger import: paid only, or custom rules per tag, channel or product type.

2

Customer matching strategy

Match to an existing NetSuite customer, create one per shopper or post to a single channel account. We hold the mapping so internal IDs never have to be guessed.

3

Item and SKU matching

Match on SKU, internal ID, barcode or a cross-reference table. Unmapped items go to a configurable exception queue rather than being created by accident.

4

Subsidiary, tax and location

Which subsidiary, which location, which tax code and how shipping lines are treated: all set per channel and per market.

Edge cases handled

The messy bits are covered.

ERP integrations break on detail rather than on the happy path. These are the four we are asked about most, in the words customers use.

"The SKU in Shopify doesn't match anything in NetSuite."

Unmatched items go to a configurable exception queue with notifications, so the order is held rather than posted with a guessed item. No silent failures and nothing created by accident.

"Orders posted to the wrong subsidiary and finance found it at month end."

Subsidiary, location and department are resolved per channel and per market before the order is written, so the entity is decided at the mapping layer rather than defaulting to a catch-all.

"We have bundles in Shopify but kit items in NetSuite."

Bundle to component mapping is supported. A Shopify bundle line becomes the correct NetSuite kit or assembly, or expands to component lines, depending on how you hold the stock.

"Tax was wrong on orders from outside the UK."

Tax codes are resolved per market and per subsidiary before posting, with inclusive and exclusive pricing handled separately, so VAT is right on the way in rather than corrected by hand later.

What you'll need

Live in weeks, not quarters.

Supply Lens handles the technical setup. You provide access and confirm how your subsidiaries, items and customers map. Agreeing that is what takes the time, and it is worth doing properly.

  • Shopify store API access
  • NetSuite account ID and integration access
  • Subsidiary, location and department structure
  • Item list and any cross-reference exceptions
  • Sample orders, five to ten representative examples
  • Tax treatment rules per territory
  • Shipping method names and expected mapping
  • Preferred customer matching strategy
